Users may experience:
  • As a user, when I format a CSV to meet the CoinTracker formatting guidelines and import the CSV into CoinTracker - I expect all of the transactions within the CSV to be imported.
Users report missing transactions after seeing a successful import message. The cause of these missing transactions is due to unsupported assets within the CSV. For example: A user wants to import an asset with the symbol ABQ but ABQ is not a tracked asset by CoinMarketCap. CoinTracker will omit the transactions with those asset symbols. Additionally, if a user adds an unsupported tag to their CSV and imports it into CoinTracker, CoinTracker omits the transactions with unsupported tags. We recommend only using supported tags as outlined in our CSV format guide linked above.
As a user, what should I do?
  • As a workaround, users can add a custom currency for the unsupported asset prior to importing their CSV, CoinTracker will then reference that custom currency upon import.
