Coinbase Advanced Trading only imports one fill in each order if multiple fills occur at the same timestamp
complete
Ash
When executing a trade on Coinbase Advanced Trading where the order has multiple fills at the same timestamp, we are only importing one fill currently. The remaining fill transactions are not imported because we are identifying them as duplicates.
This results in incorrect asset balances/cost basis/proceeds/gains/etc. in CoinTracker.
Our engineering team is investigating this as a priority issue.
If wish, you can add the missing transactions manually to make your data more accurate. Please be aware that when we roll out a fix and start adding all fills through the sync, the manual transactions will need to be removed.

This is resolved. Our team has deployed a fix to address this behavior along with some other behavior affecting users. We completed a re-sync for all Coinbase users late last week.
Things to be aware of:
- All non-manual Advanced Trade transactions were re-synced - we removed the fluctuating transactions and replaced them with the correct balanced lots.
- Manual transactions will not be affected so users may have duplicates if they manually updated Advanced Trades.
If you made manual edits to account for this behavior you can ignore or delete your manual transactions by filtering by “Type: Buy or Sell”, “Sync Method: Manual”, "Wallet: Coinbase exchange" and bulk ignore.

Any update?

No real update in months for past trades and fills. Any update?

I imagine this is impacting many people without them knowing it. I am completely stuck until this can get fixed.

When will this be fixed? Taxes are due to be filed soon and this bug makes CoinTracker USELESS!

Any projection of when this will be fixed for 'past' trades? Taxes and such are going to be due shortly and it is impossible to use Contracker with this going on. I can't even identify ones that are problematic, so I can't tell how far off it all is.

When will this be fixed? My cost basis is still completely wrong because of this. It is November! Not much time left.

The same issue seems to occur for gemini advanced trading. is there ticket open for that?

being verified
It looks like this fix has resolved the issue for future trades and fills on Coinbase Advanced Trading, but not for historical (i.e. past) trades and fills.
We are looking into how to resolve for past trades and fills that were completed before the fix was shipped.

Eivind: My new trades are not being tracked properly either. Some recent trades not showing up at all.

CT-gQ8n9eO5: sorry to hear that, can you contact us with more information of which trades are missing? Feel free to mention my name, "Eivind", in the ticket and I'll personally pick it up.

Eivind: Just wanted to say that still not all trades are being picked up. In my case it's quite weird, my oldest Advanced Trading fills were picked up, then a number pretty recent ones were "skipped" (including several during November), then the most recent ones were picked up. Not a big deal for me since the number of missed fills is small enough to enter manually, but wanted to flag that there are apparently still bugs to work out here.
Eivind
CT-3qpoVRpO: Thanks for detailing what appears wrong on your end. I'll reach out to you directly to ask for more details. Await an email from us.

Eivind: Similar to what CT-3qpoVRpO said, i still have one transaction in August that was never picked up (USD => BTC). many in October were picked up but all of a sudden stopped. All seem to be USD to BTC transactions too.

Eivind: Also still seeing this issue, not going to create a new support issue since this seems to be known. My transactions where filled with 3 transactions each, XTZ-EUR and ATOM-EUR were the trades. Feel free to get in touch if you need more information.

Eivind: I'm also seeing issues with historical trades that don't properly line up with the trades shown in Coinbase. Namely, I'm seeing several duplicates and erroneous transfers within the same wallet (such as a - 0.001 ETH -> + 0.01626 ETH transfer within the same wallet)

Eivind: I am still having errors on all my filled trades on Coinbase advanced. The various fills have all the information mixed around and incorrect. My cost basis is totally off. Please advise as this service with cointracker is completely worthless currently and only causing me more work
