Multi NFT/Token transfer marked as trade
I transferred a bundle of NFTs through OpenSea between two wallets synced to a CoinTracker account. However these are being registered as a trade and messing up my cost basis tracking. I should be able to change these to transfers and have the cost basis be maintained.
Custom Cost Basis for Airdrops, Forks, Mining, Staking, Payments, and Interest Not Reflected in Tax Center
Adjusting the cost basis for transactions marked as airdrops, forks, mining, staking, payments, and interest doesn't reflect in the tax center. This is causing the Tax Center to show incorrect values in the Taxable Income tab.
Solana transactions incomplete
Saw this on twitter and confirmed in my own transactions. Some parts of some transactions are just completely missed for some reason. Seems like it’s missing the parts interacting with smart contracts in particular. https://twitter.com/jsblair9/status/1478486492494417926?s=21
Solana addresses failing to sync or not adding
Some wallets sync normally but some do not sync at all, leaving an error message saying "Failed to sync wallet". This might only happen when tracking multiple SOL wallets but I am not sure yet. I have tried, with the same result, asking it to sync again once every few days, as well as removing and adding it back again.

Support Staking in Self-Custody ETH Wallets
Detect staking activity in self-custody wallets where staking and unstaking happens as a direct interaction with a smart contract as opposed to an exchange. Enabling this functionality would mean: • Staking and unstaking transactions correctly treated as transfers when no token is received to represent the stake • Staking rewards automatically tagged and treated correctly for tax purposes • Ensuring that when support is added for new tokens with staking use cases, we simultaneously add support for their staked counterparts (i.e. SDT and xSDT ) When tokens aren't supported, they appear with a blue circle instead of the correct symbol and may not have the correct pricing and cost basis information. Until we add support for these types of transactions, you can manually modify transactions to mark them with the correct tags . You can also use a custom currency to replace any unsupported staked tokens.
Support xSDT since SDT is Supported
Users of Staking DAO (SDT) are likely to be using that token for staking. The token appears in the wallet as a blue circle instead of the correct symbol. Since we recognize SDT but not the xSDT that users hold to represent their stake, we only cover half the use case. This causes issues with cost basis displayed on transactions as well as tax calculations. To work around this issue, you can create a custom currency to represent xSDT and manually replace the unrecognized token on your transactions. This will allow the correct cost basis to be applied on all transactions with this token.
ETH gas fees not being incorporated into cost basis / capital gains
Including for Uniswap transactions and NFTs. Gas can be a large part of minting costs so this is especially important for NFT accounting. Because gas fees are not accounted for in the cost basis, users report that their capital gains are too high. Until this change is made to the software to include gas fees in cost basis automatically, you can manually add the gas fee to the cost basis if you wish.
