Users may experience:
  • Users that experience coin-mapping issues such as this report may still see balance difference errors persist after updating the mis-mapped token
  • erroneous balance difference due to CoinTracker logic
Expected behavior:
  • When a user edits a mis-mapped token it should be expected that the update is reflected in the users calculated values to ensure there is not balance difference.
As a user, what should I do?
  • Users should continue to address mis-mapped tokens by editing the token to the correct asset, here is a guide on how to do so.
  • Report the mis-mapping! First search our bug board for existing mapping reports and add an upvote or create a new report here.
  • Hang tight! If there is an existing report for the mapping issue, once the mapping bug is resolved this should automatically resolved the erroneous balance difference. Ideally, CoinTracker will implement a long term fix for this behavior. Thank you for your patience as we improve our product.
