Users Feature Request:
As a user, if I have a bankrupt exchange (eg Celsius, FTX) that is still connected to CoinTracker via API, the reported balance displayed on the Wallets page can be out of sync (and will never update).
And because the Wallets page shows
reported balances
, and not balances as calculated by the CoinTracker transactions, there are balance discrepancy warnings. (For more info on reported vs calculated balances, please see this article)
As a user, what can I do?
Users can manually add/edit transactions in CoinTracker, but these edits will not reflect on the wallets page (since they are manual edits)
Alternatively, users can download a transactions CSV for the exchange by going to https://www.cointracker.io/transactions and filtering for that exchange. This CSV can then be reuploaded in our format. This will result in a CSV uploaded exchange that will not have "sync" issues. If users do this, they should remove the out of date synced exchange from CoinTracker.
