Users Feature Request:
  • When creating a manual transaction for an asset that was not imported via a synced wallet or exchange, that new asset does not appear in the wallets page under that wallet or exchange.
  • If I add a transaction with a new asset, I would expect that asset to appear in my wallets page under the wallet or exchange that I added the transaction to.
  • The new asset will appear in My Assets list on my Dashboard.
As a user, what can I do?
  • As a user, the wallets page list of assets per wallet or exchange does not affect your tax calculations. Your tax calculations are based on the transactions in your account. So as long as the transactions are imported or manually added the CoinTracker tax calculations will be accurate. We recommend users continue to add missing transactions if applicable those assets will be visible in the My Assets list AND be utilized in your tax summary.
