Additional ETH transaction synced from Coinbase
complete
Emma - CoinTracker
We are currently investigating an issue where some users are seeing incorrect ETH transactions in their accounts. This issue is related to incomplete data from Coinbase’s API during their ETH2 wallet deprecation process.
###
Users may experience:
- Receiving emails about transactions that do not belong to them.
- Seeing an unexpected ETH Send on their CoinTracker account.
###
Expected behavior:
- Users should only see transactions that belong to them in their accounts.
###
As a user, what should I do?
- For affected users, this may cause ETH transactions to appear as "sent" without showing a corresponding incoming transaction to the new staked ETH account. Please note that this is a display issue, not a system compromise.
- We are actively working with Coinbase to resolve this issue and will provide updates as we learn more. If you notice any unusual behavior in your account, please rest assured that we are aware and addressing it.
