BlockFi CSV parser problems (skipping transactions or failing)
in progress
Eivind
The BlockFi import in CoinTracker is skipping transactions or does not import the file at all.
🚧
Yet to be supported:
- BIA DepositandBIA withdrawal, possibly also non-interest-bearing account transactions
When the BlockFi CSV file appears to import but has actually skipped transactions, this results in incorrect balances for users, including negative balances.
As a workaround, users can change the BlockFi CSV file to the CoinTracker CSV format, then use this import process instead. If you do this, be sure to delete the wallet added via the BlockFi importer so you won't have duplicates. Full instructions can be found here:

Skip BlockFi transactions with no timestamp
Eivind
When exporting transaction history from BlockFi, transactions that are incomplete (i.e. unfunded ACH deposit, card transactions) are included in the exported CSV. These transactions have no timestamps and should be skipped when importing.

Cc Rewards Redemption & Trading Rebate
C

I import transactions manually from BlockFi in CSV form. The transactions associated with my BlockFi credit card titled "Cc Rewards Redemption" and "Trading Rebate" are never reflected in my taxable events or total account balance in CoinTracker. Would you please fix this? It's difficult to rationalize paying for one of the premium tiers this year while this basic functionality doesn't yet exist on the platform. Thanks.

Blockfi (Inaccurate Parsing, Bank Withdraws not reflected) it's been months. Please fix it or stop claiming CT is able to parse correctly.
From what I've seen online, CT cannot correctly parse any customers Blockfi csv. So, at least update your site to reflect the services you actually offer.
The back and forth with your customer service is not helpful if you don't even attempt to fix the problem. Thanks

Timestamp on BlockFi Transactions Wrong
C
CT-0Xg9AGNq
I imported my BlockFi Transactions, and dates and times are all sorts of wrong. The transactions in my BlockFi seem to be assumed to be UTC but they are not UTC. Honestly, the time stamps in the BlockFi CSV are some unknown timezone. Because when I look in my blockFi for a particular transaction:
BlockFI UI shows: May 12, 03:00:44 PM EST
BlockFi Transaction CSV : 05/12/21 22:00:44
And CoinTracker imports this ??? time as UTC (although nothing says it is UTC)
And the UTC time for May 12, 03:00:44 PM = May 12, 07:00:44 PM, not 22:00:44
It would be nice to set/correct dates vs. timezone. or at least identify that it expects UTC for the transaction times.
