Users may experience:
  • When attempting to open the link in the tax form email users encounter an error:

  • Note: This error occurs when utilizing the
    Adobe Acrobat: PDF edit, convert, sign tools
     extension
Expected behavior:
  • It is expected that my tax form be supported and open without error when clicking the link to 'Download tax form'.
As a user, what should I do?
  1. Save and Open the File Locally
    : Instead of opening the PDF directly in your browser, you can right-click the download link and select
    “Save link as”
    . This action will allow you to save the PDF file to your computer. Once downloaded, you can open the file locally with your preferred PDF viewer.
  2. Open Link in Incognito Window
    : Another effective workaround is to bypass the extension for this specific task. You can right-click the download link and select
    “Open Link in Incognito Window”
    . This will open the PDF without the interference of the Adobe Acrobat extension or any other Chrome extensions.
