I am excited to share that we have shipped some improvements to our eToro integration!
Newly downloaded eToro files should now import into CoinTracker correctly.
Some of the improvements included in this change are:
- Support for open positions in eToro. If an asset was purchased in eToro, but not sold, CoinTracker will import the Buy transaction so users can accurately track their current portfolio holdings. This will enable eToro users to leverage CoinTracker's portfolio tracking and tax loss harvesting solutions.
- Support for staking rewards. Staking rewards will be imported and automatically marked as staked rewards to be treated as taxable income on the Tax Center.
To use the improved eToro integration, please download a new Account Statement file from eToro and import to CoinTracker following the steps on the Add Wallet page: https://www.cointracker.io/add_wallet?t=etoro

I still cannot import any eToro statement file. The add Wallet interface is telling me: Failed to find all required column headers in eToro transaction report column headers

We are working on updating this integration to address this issue and to import all open positions. Currently, we only import closed positions so account balances are always 0.
Importing open positions will enable eToro users to utilize CoinTracker's portfolio tracking solutions (Dashboard, Performance, Tax Loss Harvesting, etc.)
