Users may experience:
  • Users will see GALA V1 mapped to GALA V2 on Coinbase exchange
  • Incorrect GALA V1 prices / asset tracking on their Dashboard and Performance page
Expected behavior:
  • Coinbase exchange no longer supports GALA V1, but users should either see GALA V1 as an unsupported token, blue logo, OR as a separate asset from GALA V2.
  • Users expect that GALA transactions prior to May 15, 2023 are mapped to GALA V1 and transactions after that date happen after that date.
As a user, what should I do?
Users can edit individual (GALA) transactions prior to May 2023 (fork) and replace the incorrect token with a custom currency. Instructions can be found in this support guide for correcting wrong coins.
