Users may experience:
  • GatePoint, a token used to reduce trading fees on Gate.io, is incorrectly being mapped to Point Coin within users' synced Gate.io exchanges. As a result, users' portfolio, wallet, and dashboard values are inflated based on the current price of Point Coin instead of the correct GatePoint.
Expected behavior:
  • Users expect that the GatePoint token should be accurately mapped and reflected in their portfolio, wallet, and dashboard values according to its specific market details and price.
As a user, what should I do?
There is currently no user-facing workaround as no transactions are being correctly synced for the user's GatePoint account values. We have escalated this issue to our engineering team and will update this post once a fix is deployed.
