As a user, when I export my transaction history from CoinTracker I expect the entries in my transaction history CSV to reflect the transactions as they are in CoinTracker.
Users report exported CSV is omitting the added manual Sent / Receive side of transfer transactions for synced wallets as well as multiple entries for single transactions due to edits. If users make the following edits:
  • 'Change type to transfer', this will create an additional entry in the CSV
  • Followed by adding an internal note to the transfer transaction, this will create a 3rd entry
Users could see 2-3 additional entries and some general inaccuracies in those entries. Users can ignore the affected transfer transactions and recreate them as manual transactions. Manually created transfer transactions will be exported correctly.
We have escalated this behavior to our engineering team for review. We will update this post once a fix is deployed!
