Users may experience:
  • Users report missing NFT (SPL) entries when Trading / selling those NFTs on Magic Eden.
  • Upon import, users will see the inflows or incoming SOL entries received from selling an NFT on Magic Eden
Expected behavior:
  • CoinTracker supports NFT(SPL) trades via Magic Eden, users should expect to see NFT entries import correctly.
As a user, what should I do?
  • Hang tight! Once a fix is deployed we will update this post and you will receive an automated email on next steps.
  • If needed, as a workaround, users create a custom currency for the missing NFT assets and replace them with the custom currency. Detailed instructions for creating a custom currency and editing transactions can be found here for creating a custom currency and here for replacing the token. Any future transaction entries with the same NFT asset will need to be updated to the custom currency to ensure consistent tax treatment.
