Users may experience:
  • Prolonged or stuck syncs for their Binance exchange that has already been imported into CoinTracker
  • Failed on ongoing syncs for new Binance exchanges added to CoinTracker
Expected behavior:
  • Users should see their Binance exchange sync regularly without issue daily
  • Users should expect to add their Binance exchange with varying import time but successfully
As a user, what should I do?
  • - This behavior is due to geolocation blocks for users that utilize the Binance API from a restricted area as permitted by the Binance API terms of service. Syncs will fail or prolong based on geolocation. Syncs will eventually resolve once geolocation restrictions no longer affect the connection.
  • Users can either wait for an update on this post or transition their Binance exchange to import via CSV! Instructions and import here.
