Wallet balances are not consistent with asset level balances for imported wallets
complete
Sam - CoinTracker
Users may experience:
- Imported wallet balances may not reflect the actual balance based on the imported transactions
- Imported wallet balance may not match the asset holdings balance within that wallet
Note: Newly imported wallets appear to be calculating wallet balances correctly.
Expected behavior:
- Imported wallet balances should equal: Sum of Incoming transactions - (Sum of Outgoing transaction + Fees)
- Imported wallet balances should be the sum of all asset level holdings within that wallet
As a user, what should I do?
1. If you require immediate resolution, we recommend users remove their imported wallet from CoinTracker and re-add the wallet via CSV. CAUTION: Users will lose their manual edits upon removal, you can backup your wallet using the following guide to keep a record of your manual edits.
2. Hang tight! Our team is working to resolve this behavior, you will be notified automatically once a fix is deployed.
