Support IP Whitelisting
submitted

Users Feature Request:
- Some exchanges, such as Kucoin, offer IP restriction for enhanced security when generating API keys for integrations. If you have this restriction turned on, you may find that you cannot proceed with adding the exchange to CoinTracker.
- Currently, CoinTracker does not have a static IP address, so API keys need to be unrestricted to work with CoinTracker. This post tracks the feature request for adding a static IP address so users can restrict exchange API keys to that IP for added security.
As a user, what can I do?
- Until this feature is added, IP restriction would need to be turned off when generating an API key.

This looks to be from 2020, is there an update on this? I see Sam just looked at this post.
It is about 3.5 years later, have we made any progress on this item?
Thank you.

Please add this feature. Exchanges like Gate disable APIs without static IP addresses after 90 days, so mine was recently disconnected.
Important question, if I create a new API key from scratch for Gate and connect it, will CoinTracker recognize the old Gate transactions already in my history, or will they possibly be doubled in my transaction history? Not sure how all this works, waiting for your response. Thanks!
