UX issue with TurboTax uploads
  • Location: CT "Tax" view > "Tax filing software" tab
  • The "TurboTax CD/Download File" option downloads a .txf file which is not compatible with TurboTax desktop. This seems like the appropriate option for TurboTax desktop because of the "Download File" in the name.
  • Workaround: Users of TurboTax desktop should use the CSV file to upload into the TurboTax desktop app under "TurboTax Online File" > Downloads .csv as seen in the screenshot
