What is being requested?
Add automatic categorization for staking-related activity when importing Crypto.com App CSV files.
Currently, staking transactions
are imported
, but they are not categorized as
Stake / Unstake / Staking Reward
, which leads to incorrect balances and misleading portfolio views.
Why is this needed?
Because staking activity is not auto-categorized, staked assets are treated like regular transfers or ignored in balance calculations. This causes:
  • Portfolio balances to appear lower than expected
  • Confusion around where assets “went” after staking
  • Extra manual work for users to correct transactions one by one
Users expect staking activity from a first-party exchange CSV to be recognized and categorized automatically.
Who is affected?
Users who import their transaction history using the Crypto.com App CSV and have staking activity in their account.
Current behavior
  • Staking-related rows are imported successfully
  • Transactions are not categorized as staking activity
  • Staked assets are not reflected in wallet or portfolio balances
Desired behavior
  • Crypto.com App CSV staking activity is auto-categorized as:
- Stake
- Unstake
- Staking Reward
  • Staked assets are reflected accurately in balances and portfolio views
