Coinbase CSV exports include transactions that are not in chronological order, especially where reward or claim events and trades or conversions are mis-sequenced. When this data is imported into CoinTracker, cost basis may not attach correctly and “Review Suggested” flags can appear.

Users importing Coinbase CSV data with assets that include reward and trade interactions are affected. The issue has been observed with MORPHO and may affect additional Coinbase-sourced transactions.

Users may manually update the timestamp of affected transaction(s) to reflect the correct chronological order of transactions.

Manual edits are a temporary workaround and will be overwritten by future fixes or re-syncs. However, manual changes can sometimes result in duplicate transactions or other unintended side effects. For this reason, edits should be made with caution. Once a permanent fix is released, manually edited transactions may need to be reviewed or removed to ensure accuracy.
