Users may experience:
  • Margin related activity such as margin gain/loss are not being included in the overall tax summary.
Expected behavior:
  • Users expect to see all taxable implications of their margin activity to be summarized on the tax page.
As a user, what should I do?
There is no current workaround for this behavior, however
Form 8949
and
Capital Gains CSV
should now include margin gains within their reports.
Additionally, users can generate the new report
Unified capital gain/loss & income report
within their tax page for a breakdown of their margin gains/losses.
How can users provide feedback?
