What is the issue?
Users attempting to reset their passwords are receiving Error 1015, which indicates they are being rate limited. While users are advised to wait 24 hours before retrying, some are still encountering the error even after the wait period has passed — preventing them from regaining access to their accounts.
Who is affected?
Users with password reset attempts and are running into the error 1015, even after trying again after 24 hours.
What is the workaround?
There is currently no workaround. Users are advised to wait.

This issue has been resolved.
The rate-limiting behavior causing Error 1015 to persist beyond the expected 24-hour cooldown on password resets has been fixed. Users who previously encountered this issue should now be able to successfully reset their passwords after the cooldown period.
