Specifically:
- Ensure TLH wallet balances match the transaction page balances.
- Warn users about transaction history errors that may impact TLH recommendations.
Why is this needed?
Users rely on TLH recommendations to make tax-efficient trades. However, inconsistencies between TLH wallet balances and transaction page balances create confusion and potential inaccuracies.. A warning system would help users avoid acting on incomplete data.
What can users do now?
- Users must manually verify balances on the transactions page before following TLH recommendations.
- No built-in warnings exist; users must review their transaction history manually.

This issue is now resolved for staked assets. We are making further improvements to resolve the functionality for wallets with an incomplete transaction history.

Users Feature Request:
Add a toggle switch to the Tax Loss Harvesting Tool that will show results that exclude any tokens that are currently staked.
As a user, what can I do?
At this time, the Tax Loss Harvesting Tool will show all assets that can be sold at a loss to harvest tax losses, regardless of their status as staked or un-staked. There is no work around at this time. To realize the tax losses, staked assets can be un-staked and sold.
