Missing Staking Wallets with Coinbase API sync
complete
M
Matthew S. - CoinTracker
What is the issue?
The Coinbase API sync is not detecting staking wallets involved with SOL, DOT, and ETH. As a result, transactions that transfer tokens into staking wallets are incorrectly categorized as "Send" transactions, which incorrectly triggers a capital gain.
Who is affected?
Users who stake on Coinbase and rely on the API sync to track their staking transactions.
What is the workaround?
Users can manually adjust the transaction category from "Send" to "Stake" to avoid incorrect capital gains.

This issue has been fixed, you should see your staking wallets and related transactions in your accounts now. Please run 're-import' from the ... menu next to the Coinbase integration on the wallets page to ensure your transactions are properly classified. Reverting any manual edits made to address this issue is also a good idea to ensure consistent transaction handling.
