This feature is available for all newly added Gemini accounts. For existing accounts who would like to opt in to this feature, please remove Gemini using the 'Remove Exchange' option on the Wallets page, wait 10 minutes, then re-add Gemini to CoinTracker. Please be aware that opting in to this feature may pull in additional transactions and may change tax calculations of past years.

Users Experience:

CoinTracker users previously could not sync transactions from Gemini Earn/staking transactions via the existing Gemini exchange API integration.

Expected behavior:

CoinTracker should fully support Gemini Earn, including automatic syncing of transactions directly through API integration, similar to how other Gemini transactions are currently handled.

As a user, what should I do?

Accounts created after March 24th, 2025 will automatically have these transactions.

Users with accounts created prior to March 25th, 2025 will not be automatically opted in. Please remove and readd your Gemini account to be opted in.

Please be aware that opting in to this feature may pull in additional transactions and may change tax calculations of past years.

Let me be specific. I'm using Gemini staking Pro. it's those transactions that are not included in API uploads. It's the majority of my portfolio. So the account balance is way off. It's almost like it's a separate account on the Gemini website.

The next step is including the staking and unstaking txs.

It's useful to learn that "You can also reach out to Support if you do not want to remove your Gemini account and only wish to to sync these transactions going forward."

The API did not work for me. I removed the wallet waited 10 minutes and added it back in. No staking transactions came in?
