Issue: Can’t select the correct asset when multiple tokens share the same ticker
When a token exists on multiple chains or as a bridged version with the same ticker symbol, it’s not always possible to select the correct one when creating or editing a transaction.
For example, if two assets are both labeled
UBTC
(one on Hyperliquid Core and one on HyperEVM), selecting the second option in the list may automatically revert back to the first. In some cases, edits to the asset selection do not persist at all.
This makes it difficult or impossible to correctly classify transactions, especially transfers between wallets on the same ecosystem.
Impact:
Users with assets that share the same ticker across multiple chains can’t reliably select or update the correct asset.
