Portfolio value spike due to missing price history for Terra (LUNA) / Terra Classic (LUNC)
Users may experience: Terra (LUNA) and Terra Classic (LUNC) are recognized but missing price history, causing inflated or inaccurate unrealized gains. Notably, LUNA / LUNC appear to be causing a spike in users' portfolio balance around May 26, 2022. Expected behavior: Users expect full price history tracking for all supported tokens, including Terra (LUNA) and Terra Classic (LUNC), to accurately reflect unrealized gains and overall portfolio balance. As a user, what should I do? Users can either leave their LUNA / LUNC transactions as is or use a workaround by creating a custom currency for the partially supported token and replacing said token with the custom currency. Detailed instructions for creating a custom currency and editing transactions can be found here for creating a custom currency and here for replacing the token . All transactions with the partially supported token will need to be updated to the custom currency to ensure consistent token treatment. How can users provide feedback? You can upvote this forum post to indicate you are experiencing this behavior. The post status will be changed to Complete once a fix is rolled out to all users. Up-voters will be notified of the status change. I need additional assistance, who can I contact? For further assistance, please contact our support team directly . Unstake transaction values increase Net Deposit and cost basis values
Users may experience: Users report inflated Net Deposit and cost basis values due to unstake (illiquid) transactions Unstake transactions were originally 'Receive' transactions which are included in the Net Deposit and Cost basis portfolio tracking values, CoinTracker is not differentiating between 'Receive' and 'Unstake' (illiquid) transactions. Expected behavior: Net deposits should accurately reflect only the actual cash inflow into the account, excluding any reinvested funds. The platform should provide a clear and accurate representation of a user's investment growth, by applying specific treatment for transaction categories. As a user, what should I do? If you are affected by this issue, it is recommended to keep a separate record of your 'unstake' transactions until the problem is resolved. This will help ensure that your personal financial tracking and any necessary reports remain accurate. How can users provide feedback? You can upvote this forum post if you are experiencing similar issues. The status of the post will be updated to Complete once a solution has been implemented and rolled out to all users. Those who have upvoted will be notified of the update. Your feedback is crucial in helping us identify and prioritize fixes for such issues. I need additional assistance, who can I contact?
