This feature is available for all newly added Gemini accounts. For existing accounts who would like to opt in to this feature, please remove Gemini using the 'Remove Exchange' option on the Wallets page, wait 10 minutes, then re-add Gemini to CoinTracker. Please be aware that opting in to this feature may pull in additional transactions and may change tax calculations of past years. Users Experience: CoinTracker users previously could not sync transactions from Gemini Earn/staking transactions via the existing Gemini exchange API integration. Expected behavior: CoinTracker should fully support Gemini Earn, including automatic syncing of transactions directly through API integration, similar to how other Gemini transactions are currently handled. As a user, what should I do? Accounts created after March 24th, 2025 will automatically have these transactions. Users with accounts created prior to March 25th, 2025 will not be automatically opted in. Please remove and readd your Gemini account to be opted in. Please be aware that opting in to this feature may pull in additional transactions and may change tax calculations of past years. Users may experience: Users report the Portfolio Value displayed on the Dashboard and Performance page is different from what's shown on the performance chart. Users expect these values to be the same. Expected behavior: The values are expected to be the same if the account has no balance difference. The Portfolio Value will not match what is shown on the performance chart if the user has balance differences. See our article on reported vs calculated values here. As a user, what should I do? Users can manually convert the unsupported KuCoin CSVs into the CoinTracker CSV format to import the data into CoinTracker. Detect staking activity in self-custody wallets where staking and unstaking happens as a direct interaction with a smart contract as opposed to an exchange. Enabling this functionality would mean: • Staking and unstaking transactions correctly treated as transfers when no token is received to represent the stake • Staking rewards automatically tagged and treated correctly for tax purposes • Ensuring that when support is added for new tokens with staking use cases, we simultaneously add support for their staked counterparts (i.e. SDT and xSDT ) When tokens aren't supported, they appear with a blue circle instead of the correct symbol and may not have the correct pricing and cost basis information. Until we add support for these types of transactions, you can manually modify transactions to mark them with the correct tags . You can also use a custom currency to replace any unsupported staked tokens.

I would love to see you add support for the entire Solana DeFi ecosystem since all the Solana-based apps are integrated ("composable") on the main Solana blockchain. Solana has quite a number of new DeFi protocols in development that look very promising, with super fast transactions and tiny gas fees, so I would very much like to see you add support for all these Solana-based DeFi services. Raydium AMM is the first and largest yield farming app, but many others are coming as well. Mercurial Finance, Step Finance are just a few of the new Solana DeFi apps I am interested in using. Serum TaxTime is a new app that supposedly will soon generate a CSV for the main Serum DEX on Solana blockchain, but I doubt it would cover the other DeFi apps on Solana as well.-Robert

Users Feature Request: Canadian users have requested the ability to generate CRA Schedule 3 for 2024. This form is currently unavailable because it has not yet been released by the CRA. It is expected to be available around January 23rd. Jan 31st update These forms are not yet available. This post will be marked as "Complete" as soon as the forms are available.
